Linkovert Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Linkovert browser extension ("the extension") collects and how it is used. By using the extension you agree to this policy.

What the extension does

The extension helps you draft comments, replies, and connection notes on LinkedIn. When you click a "Draft" button, it sends the relevant text to our server, which uses an AI model to generate a suggested draft that you can review, edit, and choose to post yourself. The extension never posts anything automatically.

What we collect

• Setup details you enter: your name, a short description of what you do, who you want to reach, and your chosen tone. You type these into the extension's setup form.
• Your access ID: a code provided to you that identifies your account.
• Content you choose to draft on: when you click a Draft button, the text of that specific post or comment is sent to our server to generate a draft. We do not read or collect anything on LinkedIn unless you click a Draft button.
• Usage counts: the number of drafts you generate, to enforce your plan limit.
• Optional feedback: if you use the feedback form, your message and any screenshot you attach.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your browsing history, passwords, or data from sites other than LinkedIn.
• We do not read your LinkedIn messages, connections, or profile data.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How your data is used and shared

The text you submit for drafting is sent to a third-party AI provider (OpenRouter, and through it the selected model provider) solely to generate your draft. Your setup details and usage counts are stored in our database to operate the service and enforce limits. We do not share your data with anyone else.

Data storage and retention

Your setup details, usage counts, and any feedback are stored on our server (Cloudflare). You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
